Hello, I made my own poster for The Smurfs 2.

I use the Lilo and Stitch poster and replace Stitch with Vexy and Hacks.
What do you think?

Yeah, like Disney's going to advertise characters not created by them or Pixar.

Vexy: Don't worry, guys. We won't mess up the place... much.
Very cute composition, Oscar95! Chances are the Disney characters are shocked because they hope the rumors of Disney stepping in take over the Smurf movie trilogy from Sony aren't true. They don't want Smurfs running all over Toontown.
"Smurfy Hollow" has already aired on Disney-owned ABC Family, so there might be some truth to them rumors.

But will the Culliford family be willing to release control of their characters for who knows how much Disney may be offering for them?

Haha! It's getting so every move made by Disney is cause for shock and awe. Still, assuming they and House Culliford can come to some sort of agreement, I can't think of anyone better placed to make a new smurf animated series happen. The question is, can they remain true to Peyo's vision?

The Culliford family owns their patriarch's creations (Smurfs, Snorks, Steve Strong, Pousi Cat etc.) and as Vic George correctly said they don't license or sell out to just anybody. When the popular TV series was created by Hanna-Barbera, Studio Peyo (aka SEPP) co-produced it and today co-owns it with Warner Bros., H-B's successor.
Though they have made some very unsmurfy mistakes since Peyo's death on how they handle his characters (i.e. the infamous 2005 UNICEF promo where Smurf Village gets bombed), the Cullifords aren't about to sell out anytime soon.
BTW, I still can't believe it was Hanna-Barbera(!!!) that animated the series and did it so well for so many years compared to their other programs at the time. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Unless The Culliford Family signs a 10-Yesrs deal with Disney to create a new Smurfs TV Series and an All-CGI Smurfs reboot; Instead of giving the rights of Hanna-Barbera's Smurfs show and Sony's Smurfs movies.
