I hope it will be a Hand Drawn 2D smurfs not CG
It just doesn't have the same spirit...
Cel-Shaded is just about right if they can't afford
to go back to the old school style.
It will make many things alot easy than trying to
make it look real.
Well if it's not i still watch anyway.

I'd rather see hand-drawn animated Smurfs on TV than in the movies.

@VicGeorge2010 Looks like you're not alone my smurfy friend, I mean we all do prefer the classic of hand-drawn traditional animation than the over-the-top use of CGI since the mid 90's.
I mean if I had a career in animation, I would step into the right direction for it. (Especially for The Smurfs)

Clumsy 1991, I don't think you're getting what I'm saying. I said I'd rather see hand-drawn animated Smurfs ON TV than in the movies. I'm NOT paying $10 for a theatre ticket to see a sequel that radically shifts its art style.

Oh gee, my apologies. ^_^
Anyway I wouldn't be too sure about going to see a sequel to The Smurfs film, so I think it's best for me to wait for it to come out on DVD/Blu-ray. (Or to rent it for that matter)

Suppose Gargamel will still be stuck in NYC. I can imagine him getting a job as a children's entertainer (magic). But the Smurfs will be desperate to get him back as other Humans will be hunting them and Gargamel was the only person keeping the others away.
They should do the next one based in the 'Enchanted Forest' and keep it there just like the cartoons.

Lol, I wonder what it's gonna be about. So mysterious yet so long to wait. I think I'm gonna die of boredom when I'm waiting for the Smurfs 2 to come out.

they are really good and chocolate chip mmmmm they are super good from me cause im 9 i would trade with you too if i could i made candy with my tasty science kit i made fizzy watermelon and grape juice i also made a powder that melts in your mouth

i dint really like the smurfs movie(2010)
because i am so used to the voices from the cartoon and i don't really like gutzy it would of been better with hefty
but otherwise i loved the idea of the smurfs coming to New York
i wish i knew what the next movie is about hopefully it would be more in the smurfs village

i loved gutsy hes so funny and wears a skirt or kilt or whatever
it is im not used to the other voices either espesailly clumsy's im so used to him saying things with his southern accent it is southern right oh and sorry dont know how to spell espesially
