I just got my first copyright strike on YouTube for my video "I Dream Of Smurfette", which mostly consists of still images of the Smurfs and no music or videos. Still Fabulous Films found something in the video to raise up a copyright claim for and I had to remove the video from YouTube, which royally sucks, because now I don't know what else they're going to go after, and if I get three strikes, I could lose my YouTube account or worse.
It's getting harder to create any fanfiction work on YouTube for me to present because you don't know who's going to jump out and scream "copyright infringement" for what you have in your video.
Just to be safe, I decided to remove all my videos from YouTube until I can figure out how to present any videos without the copyright sharks pouncing on me.
