It's a shame they don't just turn the Smurfs over to the Warner Archives and their Hanna-Barbera Classics collection. They put out season sets for the Snorks, The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show, Yogi's Gang and Pac-Man. PAC-MAN, of all things, is available on DVD completely while we have to wait and wait for more Smurfs, the show that clobbered Pac-Man in the ratings way back in 1982. Go figure.

It's even worse when Magna Pacific's been releasing season sets for the first six seasons in Australia, plus all the specials on one DVD and other collectible stuff that Warner's just too afraid to touch when it comes to the Smurfs. Looks like the only way to enjoy the Smurfs is to either get yourself a region-free DVD and import the season sets and the special set from Australia or hope you have a credit card and get the season sets streamed through Amazon Instant Video.
