The ASS Card Player is a promotional Smurf made by the ASS card company.
ASS was founded in 1832 and is Germany's oldest card company. In addition to cards, ASS also makes hundreds of different games as well. It is now known as ASS Altenburger Company, part of the transnational Carta Mundi Group.
