These... are previews of read-along books, the type that come with a cd. They are made in Korea, for the little children to learn English.
I find them absolutely adorable.
There are actors speaking the dialogue in the role of each smurf, and they are very colorful. It's fun and interesting to hear a new interpretation of each character. They're mostly American actors, and they're a bit hammy!
There is also a song(!), yes, a SONG about the plot, for each story. They don't rhyme and the lyrics are awkward, but they are SO fun and sweet. This is definitely a case of Narm Charm.
My favorite is Papa Smurf's Wedding. The theme song is so dramatic and uplifting, and Vanity makes a cameo, though his voice is even more flamboyant than Alan Oppenheimer's Vanity. And the theme song lyrics are so powerful. "I have a white beard and wear red... CLOTHES!" ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

I noticed the woodnymph in the book adaptation of "Papa's Wedding Day" is called Florabelle instead of Flowerbell.

I am Papa Smurf, I will marry Florabelle! (Uh-oh!) Balthazar pops out of the wedding cake! Oh no... (Oh no!) Florabelle, you tricked me."

I wished we had something like this in Thailand. Looks to be a very cute and informative learning book.
