The Smurfs make their mark on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
The Smurfs got their hands dirty outside Grauman's Chinese Theater! Papa Smurf, Clumsy, and Smurfette all pressed their smurfy palms into unset cement for a hand print ceremony in their honor. This is definitely worthy of a "high-four"!

I note that the Smurfs have special palms in this case for the purpose of imprinting in the cement.

So cool Sassette thanks for sharing! I never heard about this happening and it's AWESOME to see the pics. Wouldn't it be cool if the cement was blue to match the Smurfs?

Watch the video for The Smurfs Handprint Ceremony at Grauman's Chinese Theatre!
On Decemeber 13, 2011, The Smurfs were honored at the historic handprint ceremony at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. Even Anton Yelchin (1989–2016), who voiced Clumsy Smurf, was there!
The handprints, footprints and autographs of famous celebrities are cast in concrete in the Forecourt of the Stars of the Grauman's Chinese Theatre. In addition to The Smurfs, they have honored other fictional characters like Donald Duck, Kermit the Frog, Herbie The Love Bug, C-3PO and R2-D2. They later changed the name of Grauman's Chinese Theatre to Mann's Chinese Theatre and now it is named the TLC Chinese Theatre.
