Someone at Smurfs Fanon Wiki suggested Kelly MacDonald, the voice of Merida from Pixar's Brave, as the voice of Brenda McSmurfette.

The intended design is that Empath and Sympathy have a private moment together, but a vision of Smurfette reminds him as if he's forgotten about who he's married to...not like she's mad, but more like a subtle reminder as if she's got something important to tell him...about a little something of his she's having... It's basically like they almost get to kiss until that reminder pops up.

Looking at the two pictures Flying Smurf made of the female equivalents of Tapper and Duncan, it's funny how Flying's version of Siobhan has long flowing hair and Flying's version of Brenda has short hair, whereas the canon character versions in my Empath series has Siobhan with tied hair and Brenda with long flowing hair. I guess I just associate the tied hair with proper grooming etiquette for a food service occupation and long flowing hair with a Xena-esque kind of female character.

BTW, when I gave Tapper and Duncan a magical gender change in one of my stories, Tapper had long flowing ginger hair and Duncan had long flowing brown hair with clumps falling in front of her shoulders by the sides of her face to imitate Duncan's sideburns.
