Hey gang,
I'm looking for information on any mountains mentioned or shown in any Smurf comics or cartoons. I'm looking for a good, rocky mountain for use in my new fanfic.
I'm also looking for information on any Spring celebrations or holidays the Smurfs have.
Any help would be muchly appreciated.
Thank you!

Well, there's Ice Mountain, where the Smurfs had to go to find a snowflower in "The Abominable Snowbeast", and there's the extinct volcano where they set up the Swoof Village for Dreamy, but I'm not sure if it had a name. There's Molar Mountain, near wherever Homnibus lives. There are lots of other mountains and caves, many inhabited, but I can't remember if they were specifically named. Here's a map showing where some mountains are in relation to the Village:
As for festivals, the Smurfs celebrate Easter and the Spring Equinox, and they throw a Spring Dance. Other celebrations include Smurf Day and Smurfette Day, the Firefly Festival, Unhappiness Day, and Funny Cake Day, but I'm not sure if these are in Spring or Summer, or even Fall.
Hope this helps! ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

And I think you can find some reference in "The Astrosmurf" part 2 cartoon. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Thanks Rowena. Do you know of some place or episode that tells more about Smurfs celebrations of Easter, Spring Equinox or their Spring dance? ------ Thanks for the vids, Squeaky. Is King's Dominion Smurf Mountain some kind of amusement park ride? ------ I seem to remember some mention of a Misty Mountains. Any idea what episode might show or describe it? Or a mountain some Smurfs went to to get a feather from some bird to cure a sickness Baby Smurf got where he coughed and bounced?
Thanks in advance!

Yes, SmurfFan, you guessed! I googled Kings Dominion after finding the video, but I didn't get to know whether the Smurf Mountain is still there. Pity! But here's other video (it's of 1991) showing the park and more of the Smurfs:
