The challenging part of this translation was also translating the newspaper text. With both the French and Dutch translations that I have on hand, I had to go back and forth to combine the two in places such as the sports section. Also I gave the newspaper the name Smurf Village Voice, which turns out to be the name of the newspaper in the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series. The original French name of the newspaper is Schtroumpf A La Une, which translates into "Smurf Main Page".

I am looking at page 23 and Smurfette nicely said to Reporter Smurf that she had finished her new smurf story and asked him that he could read it. Smurfette saids that all the writing has smurfed her rather tired and she is going to smurf home and rest. Smurfette gets really tired after writing her new smurf story and smurfs home and rest but on the hand, she is really cute and lovely.
