Share your thoughts to me does it feel different
before and after you wearing glasses?
Did any of you guys feel what it's like to be
Brainy in appearance?
With all the same voice same personality that i'm
shared with Brainy Smurf, luckily or unluckily I
don't wear glasses and my vision were almost always
normal.
Sometimes it goes blurry but it's very random.

Probably in my teens, given that I had the thick plastic frames. Not so much nowadays when I have wireframes and whiskers.

I wear glasses, but not to help me see. I have to wear special tinted glasses to help prevent migraine attacks.

That's not so good but thanks for share your thoughts.
I had a vision test years ago doctor said that i have astigmatism but Me and doctor didn't take it serious so i leave it that way.
But as years and years goes on I think my vision
starting to get worse I can feel it right now.
Even though my vision is normal my eyes can't seem to focus clearly on objects at horizontal plane.
I don't have migraine but just a mild headache on days that i heavily use my eyes.
There must be a reason why I got severe vertigo when i watch 3D movies on 3DTV.
Maybe it's time for another vision test and let's see if i going to need a glasses...

I am 10 years old and wear glasses. I have worn glasses for 2-3 years now. With my indigo glasses I don't look at all like Brainy. My frames are rectangular anyway. I get my vision tested every year. I first knew that I needed glasses when I was trying to see the words on the TV, but to do that I had to stand right in front of it. I am near-sighted and can only see things that are close to me without my glasses. I don't need glasses to read or anything. Being far-sighted is when you see stuff that's close to you, you see it blurry.

To answer your question, at first when your wearing glasses you really feel it, but when you get used to them it feels like they aren't even there, but you just can see better. It's all a matter of getting used to the feeling. Sometimes I think I've lost my glasses, but really their just on my face. [Wink]

I hope that I've helped. [Smile]

I forgot to tell you,the last time that i ever got
my vision tested was 7 years old i was only 11 years old at that time.
I can remember it like it was yesterday some unusual test for me back then.
For my case it's Astigmatism everything looks blurred out at all distance.
I think i'll go for another vision test it really annoys me
Some day it's normal another day it's slightly blurred out and
in the evening i always got headaches. [Frown]
My eyes also can't withstand bright light much too. [Cool]
Especially in this recent months. [Frown]

I started wearing glasses in the seventh grade, after having trouble seeing the blackboards because of glare. I was tested and they found I am nearsighted. I attribute it to weakening muscles because of my Muscular Dystrophy.

At first I just wore them for seeing the blackboard at school, but began wearing them full time. I can see close up without them, but further than a few inches away everything is blurry.

After you get use to them you can hardly tell you're wearing them. I prefer kind of squared silver or golden wire framed glasses.

To add on to what I did before, I have been homeschooled for about 4 or 5 years now so I never had any problem with seeing chalk boards or anything.

One thing i have to tell you that i'm like glasses I don't know why
maybe it kinda make me feel secure or safe from danger or just simply it make me look better.
But i'm looked hopelessly like a blind person with dark tinted sunglasses!
I'll tell you the truth i also secretly wearing my dad's glasses,
a reading glasses since he got far-sighted.
Look in the mirror i was like "wow i'm look so smart under those glasses!"
I looked alot like Brainy but without glasses and his freckles he had in the movie,I also got a bit of that.
I'll taking pictures of myself to see why.

i wore glasses throughout the majority of my childhood. my vision was very bad and steadily declining. i did feel that i looked like Brainy Smurf most of the time, and for me personally it was not a good look. i was happy to get Lasik when i was 18 years old.

Brainy Smurf Snaeha, if you think that you need glasses and that it would be a good look for you then you should most definitely get them ;-)
