Just through the TV series when it debuted in 1981. I didn't get into them until I heard about the Coleco videogame that they would release and I got my hands on in 1983.

I think I was about 3 or 4, mom put them on TV a few times, but I vaguely remember. Though I did have a Smurf plush I no longer have at the time. I remember seeing them again years later on Cartoon Network a few times, but never did watch the show as it would air while I was in school.
I really started getting into them when around the time I saw Smurfs The Lost Village. Since then, I picked up plushies of them, saw the two live action movies, picked up all the classic 80's series DVDs I could find, and two of the comics. I even found a Lazy Smurf shirt on Amazon as well as drew my own Smurfette shirt (was inspired after seeing the fanmade stuff on the Smurfs official Instagram).
Glad I'm hooked, I never knew what I was missing out on with this series.
