Hey guys, you....I MEAN, smurfs!
I was kind of busy the Christmas week so you guys were probably wondering why I wasn't here for those few recent days.
So now that I am back, I have been kind of interested in the band Adam and the Ants recently so I just thought I would share and start a topic based off a smurficized version of Adam and the Ants! Smurf and the Ants with not Adam Ant, but Smurf Ant!
You probably have noticed because on the Christmas Roleplay, I added some lines from Zoolander then I added Adam Ant giving Brainy his autograph for the Centre For Ants. I also mentioned listening to Adam and the Ants records on the favourite music thread so yeah.
This is where we talk about Smurf and the Ants, do pictures, edit Ants lyrics in smurf, and probably post your favourite Adam and the Ants songs here!
Hope you like it!

Hi Brainy, This thread is so made for me! Adam and the Ants and Smurfs! I think I'll have to sit down. They combine two of my favourite things in the world at the moment. I even got 'The very best of Adam and the Ants (Stand and Deliver)' DVD for Xmas so have been on Bluebuddies doing the role play with Tabby Smurf (Gargamel's Death) and listening to the Ants.
I can so imagine the Smurfs in the 'Kings of the Wild Frontier' with their face paint and singing about 'family' and wooping! ; ) 'Stand and deliver' would have to be sung by Vanity of course, could just see him in that outfit. 'Goody two shoes' would be Brainy and then all of them can do 'Ant rap' with their smurfy band. I went to see Adam and the Ants on the 11/11/11 at the Bristol O2 Arena. It was great, he's much old er now of course but still had a selection of mad hats to wear. Started off as a buffalo hat, then a pirate hat for the rest of the session. My ears were ringing for two days afterwards : ).
Great fun!

This is a picture of the concert. I took it on my mobile and the video was no good as the music was so loud it got distorted!

P.s I'm quite a bit older than you and used to watch Adam and the Ants as a teenager back in the 1980s, so I've known about him for years! It's good that a younger generation is finding out about his music. I liked it at the very beginning because of the clothes and the 'Native American' themes. His later work was not so good in my eyes, but maybe it appeals to you. Anyway, look forward to seeing what we can do with this : )

Yes, Jokey, it was very Smurfy : ). Plenty of stuff on You tube if you've not heard him before. 'Kings of the wild frontier' is my favourite and then 'Stand and deliver' and 'Prince Charming' for the costumes. ; )

Sounded like a great concert Uncle Gargy! If you still have your recording of the show, you can post it here or on guitars101 if you want to, we kind of want to hear it! (I can stand poor quality, I have a few poor quality recordings anyways.)
Anyways I made their discography plus Adam Ant's (Smurf Ant) solo career in smurf! Here it is:
1. Smurf Wears White Sox 2. Smurfs of the Wild Frontier 3. Prince Smurfing 4. Smurf or Gargy 5. Smurf 6. Vive Le Smurf 7. Manners & Smurfique 8. Wonderful, Smurf, Smurf 9. Smurf Ant is the Smurfback Hussar in Smurfing the Gunner's Smurfling

And plus, I do like their older stuff better too, I even have some of the demos from 1977-1979!
