Some advice if you dont wanna get a kids meal ask if you could buy a smurf alone and get whatever YOU like

I love that all these little McDonald's Smurfs are finding new happy homes! When I first starting collecting the toys, I thought you had to buy a Happy Meal to get each one... luckily I learned that you can also just buy the Smurf Toys separately! That's a lot of Happy Meals!!! The hardest one for me to find was Papa. I went to so many different places... but I finally found him!
Squeaky, I'm lovin' all your pictures of your Smurf Toys. I'm quite taken by your Brainy Smurf on the Toaster, Papa's Potion with the colorful lights, Vanity's shining heart and now the Gusty Smurf Wind-Up!

Here are the McDonald's Happy Meal Toy Smurfs coming out in September in Australia. Looks like the Aussies get a set of 12... a few more than the Latin America and Asian market.

Local McDonald's owners Truday Rosado, Cristina Cool, and Brittaney Kerby @huttomcdonalds, were on hand with the Smurf crew to plant a tree at the Austin Ronald McDonald House today.
The Smurf's Happy Meal program promotes the importance of good environmental stewardship and family togetherness. The Smurf's Happy Meal promotion encourages children to choose Apple Dippers over french fries with a digital code that when entered online at HappyMeal.com, McDonald's and Keep America Beautiful will plant a tree (up to 100,000) in needed or devastated areas.

It was a pleasure showing them, Sassette!! ![[Sassette Smurfling]](graemlins/Sassette.gif) And thanks a smurf for sharing the Australia Happy Meal Toys. Pity, half of them weren't launched here in Brazil. I'd really love getting them, chiefly Grouchy 'disguised' in a popcorn pack and Harmony playing the lute! And I enjoyed Baker's expression, he looks pretty funny.

Ok as much as I love the Smurfs. As much as I WANT To see the Smurfs promoted to a new generation. The last thing I want to see is McDonalds using them to sell junk food to the kids.
This makes me a little sad inside.

I kinda feel that way about the new movie itself, Miss Cassidy. CGI Smurfs running around New York City with today's "edgy" humor (using Smurf in place of curse words) and potty humor ("Who Smurfed?") is not how I would have reintroduced The Smurfs to today's kids.
