Hi, I've got this smurf that I found on this website : the "Volksbank" promo-smurf nr4. It's the one who stands on the money-bank with a coin in his hand. The money-bank (or bag) contains a key aroud the bag to open the bank. I wanted to know the value of it. I looked everywhere on the net, though can't find it anywhere for sale. The only ones I can find are the promo-smurfs of the volksbank without the money-bag underneath. Can anyone help me please... I've lost my smurfs that I had from childhood, maybe if I can sell this one, I can use the money to buy the smurfs I had as a child. Any informaton is welcome. Thank you very much xxx

Hello, Blackrose, smurfy welcome!! I'd just seen your Volksbank Coin Smurf (very cute by the way) and entered Smurf Checklists later, but I saw no price in Promo Smurf one. I don't know if it's still in a preparing phasis, so you can ask either the administrator (Papa Smurf) or the moderator (Sassette) on Smurf Community about it. Good luck! ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Welcome Blackrose,
The Volksbank Promo Smurfs are quite nice and the Smurf Bank is definitely cute!

Volksbank is German for People's Bank and was founded in 1850 and is still going strong. There are 4 different Volksbank promotional Smurfs - including the Smurf atop the red money sack. He holds a lucky coin that he is about to deposit. All of the promo Smurfs have the unique Volksbank logo (symbol) stamped on them.

As for the value... according to the Der Schlumpf Katalog, your Smurf Bank would be worth about 120 euros. Hope this helps!
Good luck starting your Smurf collection again!

Thanks very much for the answers. Now I have any idea about the value. But I, the one I have (the one above the red money sack), can't find the Volksbank logo on it. I don't see the logo neither on the picture of it. Would that make a difference (could it be fake), or isn't this one marked with the logo? ![[Confused]](confused.gif)

Whoops! I should have said that all three of the figures (not the bank) have the logo... just like the photos. It sounds like you do in fact have a legitimate bank. Sorry for the confusion. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)
