I am more than a little upset. I recently bought the Smurfs True Blue Friends DVD at Walmart (fortunately it was only $5.00) because I read on the back cover that some of the Johan and Peewit episodes were supposed to be included, which I have been wanting for decades.

So I get it home, and the DVD has entirely different episodes from what are supposed to be on it! They are all from Season 1.

The episodes that are supposed to be on the disc are:

S-Shivering S-Smurfs
Turncoat Smurf
The Smurf Who Couldn't Say No
The Haunted Castle
The Black Hellebore

What the disc actually contains:

The Magic Egg
Smurfette's Dancing Shoes
Supersmurf/ The Baby Smurf
The Fake Smurf
Paradise Smurfed
Sir Hefty
The Purple Smurfs/ Haunted Smurf
Sideshow Smurf

Even though there are a lot more episodes, I am really disappointed because it's not what I wanted nor what it says it is. Does anyone else have this disc with the RIGHT episodes? If so, where can I get one?

You must unlucky the disc inside must be different.
What the disc label looked like?
It's a red color with two smurfs or white color with
four smurfs?
True Blue Friends disc must be the red one but
if you got the white colored disc in the box you're
very unlucky that disc was from the season 1
volume 2 season set in Disc 1.

You bought the right one but the disc inside it just
not from True blue friends.
You can buy true blue friends on amazon too
I also got it from my cousin it the correct disc.
Your case is very unlucky.

Thank you for your reply.

The label on the disc is red with 4 Smurfs, and it does say Volume 1 True Blue Friends.

It matches everything on the DVD cover, but the episodes are all wrong. I'm reluctant to purchase it again because I don't want the same problem...but doggone it, I want the right episodes!

True Blue Friends Wrong DVD

Several months ago my dad bought the True Blue Friends DVD. I was really excited, but when I put it in the DVD player it turned out to be Season 1, Volume 2, Disc 1. We were really disappointed and thought they just made an error on that one disc, so he went to a different store and bought another copy. We thought for sure this one would work, but it had the exact same problem. I'm wondering if the same thing has happened to anyone else. He won't buy anymore cuz it's a waste of money and they can't be returned. I was looking at the site for a while and noticed they have pictures of the menus from the real DVD, but I don't see how anyone can have the right copy. Who knows, maybe both of the discs we got were bad, but that's very unlikely. What are your thoughts on this? [Azrael]

I have a copy of "True Blue Friends" and it does have the correct content on it (and no, it's not for sale), so there are copies of this that aren't messed up.
