Hi smurf fans,
I am going through some stuff from my childhood and found all my smurf stuff. I found one item that I can't find listed anywhere. I looked all around your site. It is a piggy bank. It is a smurf in a plane. Sadly as a kid I took off half the sticker on the bottom, but half says, "C" in a circle and then Peyo, so I would think it is not a knock off, but maybe. It is about 6" wide, less than 6" tall. It is not in great shape, the paint is coming off in places. The rest of the label on the bottom says #8005 ....rrie& co. inc
I am 46 and it is from when I was a kid, so at least 30 years old I would guess. Also possible I got into my teen years so could be only 20 years old?

Your Smurf Plane Bank is not a fake. It is authentic... and very cute! It is from 1982 and made by W. Berrie & Co. It is very common for the paint to rub off of these Smurf Banks. There were 3 Smurf Banks in this series: 1) Smurf Plane, 2) Smurf on a Pirate Chest & 3) Smurf Car.
Ceramic Smurf Banks
You can see your Smurf Plane Piggy Bank as well as many others in the Smurf Piggy Banks section.

Hi,
The one we have is a biplane...can't seem to be able to upload pic....same coloring, made in Korea...was given to my husband by a W Berrie Rep in 1982....can't seem to find pics on line of any others...
