Today I lost all my excitement about starting to collect Smurfs again. I realised that because I live in Africa and have to deal with foreign currency exchange rates I just don't stand a chance of procuring anything but the most common Smurfs. It's just so sad =(

There are lots of sellers on eBay that will ship worldwide. The biggest source is ebay because there are always new people selling their collections and many don't mind shipping worldwide.
Ebay has many different sellers, so you can sometimes get a good deal that can compensate for currency exchange rates. You just have to keep a keen eye out for a good low priced deal.
On this page go to the bottom and click Popular Searches to get started.
Also Amazon has shops that ship worldwide too.
Regardless of where you are in the world, I don't think any of us can afford to buy all the Smurfs we'd like...

If you frequently check eBay, you'll find many sellers that ship internationally. And with so many auctions to chose from, you're bound to find a great bargain!
Besides, you don't have to have a lot of Smurfs to still enjoy The Smurfs! The currency exchange may be a nuisance but you can always just treat yourself every so often. You can also collect Smurfs that are more readily available (and thus more reasonably priced) like Books and DVDs.
And there are lots of free things you can enjoy here on BlueBuddies!!!
Have you been to the Smurf Games section? Check out the Smurf Name Generator? It's fun to look up your Smurf nickname, plus all the Smurf nicknames of everyone you know.
You can watch a lot of free Smurf episodes too. It's a lot of fun! There's tons of fun and interesting things here on BlueBuddies.
Besides, it's not the stuff that matters, it's all about the community on BlueBuddies. We all share one thing in common - WE LOVE THE SMURFS!!! ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

Grandma Smurf, don't give up! Sometimes I also have some difficulties to acquire the Smurfs I'd like to get, but whenever I can I do it. Peazjelly is quite right, there are many chances for you to see Smurf figurines in very good condition on eBay, but please pay much attention when you watch them: I've already seen Smurfs with missing parts ('Supers' mainly) there. In this link you can guide yourself seeing complete pictures of them (on the boxes Regular Smurfs and Super Smurfs). And when you adopt your new Smurfs please let us know!! ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

I bought all my Smurf figurines on Amazon, E-bay and from a Schleich store online. Those are good sources. Good luck starting your collection, grandma smurf! ![[Smile]](smile.gif)
