I have found a Smurf collection on ebay called "Smurf Vintage Collection,S.C.C.I." I would like to know what you think of it and if it is worth what the seller is asking.

Smurf collectors are probably most interested in the large amount of boxed Super Smurfs present in that collection, the Christmas Smurfs, the Hardees Smurfs, and Regular Smurfs. These are of course very collectible.
The other items are related to SCCI. SCCI (Smurf Collector's Club International) was a smurf penpal club from the 1980s. In the days before the internet, letters were mailed out describing news occurring in the Smurf world. Custom made Smurfs that had other Schleich figures glued on were sold by the club with "certificates" declaring their origin.
The custom SCCI Smurfs have varying degrees of collectibility depending upon their personal value to you as a collector. You can find more detail here on BlueBuddies: The SCCI figures has its own section. Here are all of the SCCI items, including patches, badges etc. This message deals with the value of SCCI Smurfs and their certificates.
The Jubilee Smurf pictured in the auction is part of a set of 19, by the way. You can read a treasure-trove of information about the Jubilee Smurfs here.
There are many Smurfs in this ebay auction so it is definitely of value.

Thank you so much Peazjelly. I am learning so much about these little blue guys at the moment that my head is spinning. It is fascinating and I have to say I feel I haven't even scratched the surface as far as knowing all there is to know.
