Welcome to BlueBuddies, kimistry2000!
 Smurf Scratch N Sniff Stickers
Collect & Trade All 18 Smurfy Stickers
A total of 18 packs of Smurf Scratch 'n Sniff stickers came out in the 1980s. The are two different versions of the packages - USA and Canada. The American stickers had the scent name printed on the sticker whereas the Canadian stickers did not.
 American (top) & Canadian (bottom)
SMURF SERIES 1: Banana, Bubble Gum, Cherry, Chocolate, Grape, Orange, Peanut Butter, Peppermint, Root Beer, Rose, Spearmint, and Strawberry.
SMURF SERIES 2: Apple, Fruit Punch, Lemon, Pickle, Pizza, and Watermelon.
Smurf Scratch 'n Sniff stickers were produced by Wallace Berrie in the USA and by Ganz Brothers in Canada.
As for value, much depends on the condition of the stickers. These vintage stickers are typically sold individually (neatly cut) or still in the original packages. Smurf Scracth N' Sniff Stickers are very popular not only with Smurf collectors but with vintage 1980s sticker collectors too!
Stickers that are in unopened packages are worth the most. Stickers that have been removed from the backing are worth less than the separate sheets of stickers.
For example, last month on eBay I saw a collection of Smurf Scratch n' Sniff Stickers sell for $450. I have even seen a single package sell for over $100! Typically, a package will go for around $15 - $35. The single stickers sell for a couple of dollars each. Value also depends on the "flavor" too. Some are more popular and harder to find than others.
Hope this helps!

Thank you! I'm specifically wondering because I am getting a lot of smurfs stickers next week. They are still new in the packages, and I know that a few are very rare. I haven't seen a couple of them for sale at all on ebay in the past 4 years, but I wanted to list them as buy it now or best offer auctions since I have many duplicates. Your response is telling me that I should sell them as auction listings, which was what I was thinking, but I didn't want to sell them over a long period of time. Thanks again!

Ok, there are FOUR possible "sets" (packs of 12-18) to collect for Smurf Scratch and Sniff.
--------------- Info and Price Guide ---------------
Copyright 1999-2011, Gerrit Dykstra Jr =)
--------------- Wallice Berrie & Co ----------------
These were the original Smurf Sniffstickers made. They come 12 matte stickers per sheet with 3 repeating designs along with a praise word on the bottom of each sticker
---------------------------------------------------
------------------- Series One -------------------
1982 - 12 stickers/12 backs (12 scents listed on back)
These range from $1.00 per strip of three to about $5-7 per sealed pack. No rare scents.
-------------------- Series Two ------------------
1983 - 12 stickers/18 backs (18 scents listed on the back)
These range from $1.00 per strip of three to about $4-6 per common pack
For the last 6 scents (Apple, Fruit Punch, Lemon, Pickle, Pizza, Watermelon) Strips of 3 can run from $10-25 per strip to about $50-100 per pack.
---------------- Series Two (Variant) ---------------
1983 - 18 stickers/18 backs (Pack says 18 stickers inside, with 18 scents) NOTE: All known packs have only 12 stickers inside.
These are semi rare - very rare as they were most likely released LATE 1983/early 1984. Strips are equal to their 12/18 counterparts with sealed packs ranging from $20-$150 for the rarest scents. These are more for the pack collector as no known sticker variations are known.
------------------------------------------------
--------------------- Ganz Bros ------------------
These are nearly identical to the Wallice Berrie ones except for two differences: Bilingual (french Canadian) on the packs and NO praise words on the bottom of each sticker
------------------------------------------------
1983 - 12 stickers/18 backs (18 scents listed on the back)
These are a bit different in rarity to their American counterparts.
Strips of 3 range from $1-2 up to $10+ for the rare scents. While packs run from $3-5 for common up to $50+ for the rare scents.
Common scents: Apple, Bubble Gum, Chocolate, Fruit Punch, Grape, Lemon, Peanut Butter, Pickle, Pizza, Root Beer, Strawberry, and Watermelon.
RARE scents (Extremely rare in sealed pack form): Banana, Cherry, Peppermint, Rose, Orange, and Spearmint.
------------------------------------------------
------------------ Rare variants -------------------
There is a known Wallice Berrie strip/sheet with the tip of the Strawberries in green instead of the white or no ink.
Stickers and strips/sheets of this variation run around $5-20+ with $20+ being per strip. There are NO known packs with this variation, but would make no difference as it could be easy for someone to remove the staple and switch sheets.
------------------------------------------------
------------------ KNOWN PACKS ------------------
Wallice Berrie 1982 Series 1 12/12 - ALL
Wallice Berrie 1982 Series 2 12/18 - ALL
Wallice Berrie 1983 Series 2 Variant 18/18 - Cherry, Lemon, Orange, and Pickle.
Ganz Bros 1983 12/18 - Apple, Bubble Gum, Chocolate, Fruit Punch, Grape, Lemon, Peanut Butter, Pickle, Pizza, Root Beer, Strawberry, and Watermelon.
------------------------------------------------
I hope this list clears up any questions about collecting ALL the known Smurf sniffstickers out there.
If any one can add to this, please do (Especially the confirmation/whereabouts of any packs not listed!!)
