I got a mail from a Smurfs dealer about the 2011 smurfs: (It's in German). There were pictures of the boxes but they asked not to post them before nov.7.
The NEW smurfs for the next year will be 25 different smurfs in 5 blisterboxes
to celebrate 50 years Schleich smurfs.

I like the diorama style boxes. It is an interesting selection of Smurfs. The 1960's and 1980's editions are fun due to the fact that some figurines have not been re-issued before (e.g. black smurf).

I also like the diorama boxes with the forest background... it's just like the Toys R' Us exclusive Smurfs Box Sets!
Toys R' Us came out with five different boxes of Schleich Smurfs Figures using the very same boxes - but with different characters than the new 2011 Smurfs.

Thanks for the info. There's no Toys r us in Holland but I'm sure it will be available on Ebay pretty soon after release.

Here are photos of the new Schleich Smurf Figures for 2011! They are called "The Smurfs in 3D". There are six new Smurf Figurines with the ID numbers 2.0729 - 2.0734. You can buy them two different ways: 1) The set comes in a box similar to the Special Edition boxes - but instead the box has pictures from the Smurfs Movie! Or 2) The Smurfs will be sold separately like Schleich has done in previous years.

Wow these look exactly like the Smurfs from the movie! I can't get over Brainy's new glasses they look very realistic. Smurfette really does look like a movie star!!

Papa and Smurfette look perfect - and Brainy Smurf's expression is sooo sweet!
