Topic: What would you say were the saddest moments in the series?

What moments in the series did you all find to be the saddest or most touching? For me I would have to say:
"Clumsy Luck" - When they all thought Clumsy had been killed by the meteor.
"Squeaky" - When Squeaky died.
"Handy's Sweetheart" - When Marina left, and Handy accepted that "she was better off where she's going".
"Swapping Smurfs" - When Sassette lost her doll.

Well, maybe the Squeakey episode...but I mean, I think we all knew the mouse was gonna die, so I guess the saddest moment for me, would be, all the handy and marina episode, because in the end they have to say goodbye, and I luvvv them ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)
EDIT:and...and...AND...in Jokey's Jokebook, when the guys book is detroyed, ![[Frown]](frown.gif) makes me sad, i just wanna hug the little guy!!!

The saddest is probably Smurfquest season 6
premiere.
The epic adventure of the smurfs to collecting
the 4 elements in 4 corners of the world.
When they're got older and the old smurfette
fleeing from their destroying village and hoping
papa smurf,sassette,greedy,handy,hefty and grandpa are coming back and replenish the long
life stone with new elements!
And then after grandpa completed it he sunndenly
pass out!
That part alone is a bit too serious for the smurfs!
The saddest memories in the series for real is
that season 9 never complete and we never know
that they'll come back or not!
The series conclusion has been in secret for
20 years!

i'm not sure because i've seen soo many i'd probably think maybe..... wel actually i'm not sure, its kinda hard to choose but like sometimes there's repeats on tv so i dont see the sad ones soo often which is good because smurfs are supposed to be happy!

The saddest moment for me would have to be Season 9 in general.

I agree with Rocker. The episodes with Squeaky the mouse and Marina the Mermaid are truly sad, but the 'Smurf Springtime Special' (the moment when the duckling is shot) and 'The Smurf's Apprentice' (when Clumsy, after becoming a dragonsmurf, wants to play with the other Smurfs and they refuse him) are also very touchy!!

oh yeah thats right squeaky when that little duck gets shot thats pretty sad but its great that mother nature was around to help!
