Alleged "Smurf Bandit" pleads not guilty

The "Smurf Bandit", accused in three bank robberies and an attempted holdup around San Diego County, pled not guilty to felony charges.
Kevin High, who is 5-foot-5, faces three counts of robbery and one count of attempted robbery.
The 25-year-old suspect is accused of a series of heists between May 13 and May 26 in La Mesa, Liberty Station, Rancho Bernardo and Oceanside.
Bail is set at $100,000 for the defendant, or 1,000,000 smurfberries, (hee hee). The Smurf Bandit faces a maximum of 10 years and eight months in prison if convicted.
