Hi Everyone, I was wondering with so many smurfy experts out there, if anyone knew who this little fella was! I just got him for my birthday and can't seem to find anything about him. He's stamped Peyo 1983 on his base with the word Ajena and a tiny little hexagonal hole as if maybe he once stood on something? Although with the loop on his head I wondered if he was part of some kind of jewellery? Any help would be appreciated!!

Smurf Clipy Collection
Your little smurf is called a Clipy Smurf (or Clipy Schtroumpf / Clipy Schlumpf). There are many different designs of Smurf Clipys. They originate from France and came out in 1983. Each Smurf Clipy measures about 1 inch tall. And as you mentioned, they are marked, "Ajena".
They originally came with a different little trinket that attaches to the Clipy Smurf. For example, a Smurf Clipy may attach to a clip, drinking straw, paperclip, barrette etc. Each one was unique!
Each Clipy Smurf has a loop that you can use to attach it on to things.
You can put them on a zipper, clothes or bag... You can also use them as jewelry or a keychain - basically anywhere you can think to attach a little smurf!

Sassette is correct.
In addition to the Ajena mark, Clippy Smurfs are made under license from Belokapi, and Made in France. Clipy Smurfs are approximately 2.3 cm or 1" in length, as Sassette said. They make a good addition to any Smurf figure collection.

This pair of mini Smurfs are hair barrettes! The two miniature Smurfs are called Surprise Smurf (UEBERRASCHUNGSSCHLUMPF) and Vanity Smurf / Vain Smurf (EITLERSCHLUMPF).

The back side of the Clipy Smurf card shows many fun ways to personalize and decorate your items with mini Clipy Smurf charms. Use them as jewelry like earrings, barrettes, hair ties or a ring. Attach them to a watch, keys, belts, shoelaces, glasses and more!
