I need some help. I have six christmas smurfs, some with gold cords, some without gold cords - never had them. Was there a part of the collection that was manufactured not as ornaments, and if so, how are these values compared to the corded ones?
Thanks.

Hello, Denise, welcome! Just take a look here and go to 'Christmas Smurfs' box. And you can see the worth of your Smurfs in 'Create Your Own Smurf Checklist'. Good luck! ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Thanks for the response so far. Unfortunately I had looked at the Christmas Smurfs, and mine is not there. I have a smurf with the Wreath around his face, but it is not a Gold Cord Ornament. Help!
Also, where is the best place to list smurfs that I would like to be able to sell to others? Ebay, here, or some other site?
Thanks! Denise

Hi dneto611
Start a new message called Christmas Smurfs for Sale (or whatever) and list them all there. Or you can also go to the checklists page and make a list of your smurfs for sale:
http://bluebuddies.com/smurf_figurines/smurf_checklist.htm#checklists
Then post your checklist link in your message. Either way post a message thats what everyone does!!

My, that's a pity. But today I was looking and I found a Christmas Wreath Smurf with no gold cord, alike to yours. Many people usually sell Smurfs on ebay but there's other sites that does it. Good luck once more! ![[Santa Smurf]](graemlins/santa.gif)

I'm from Portugal and I've had one of those 1981 (Schleich S) Christmas "Wreath smurfs" since childwood. It never had the cord, nor the ring for it, as you can see by the next photo...

That one and the other 41, plus 2 mushroom houses, were given to me, throughout the years, by my uncle, a chess collector.
Used to love to receive them and to play with it when I was growing... now it's my little daughter's turn, since I took her to see the film.
Funny thing, always regarded that one as the ugly duckling....
Question: If the Christmas tree ornaments with cord and ring are so rare... doesn't this make these regular smurfs (no ornament) even rarer???
If so, I would consider selling it... it would be a shame to see an extremely rare smurf "killed in action" by my 4 year old, ehehehe... maybe it belongs to a Collector's vitrine.
