This actually isn't about smurfs songs
that's chick corea created.
This topic is about the front album cover of the
Chick Corea's album.
And Did you know that the four smurfs figurines
playing a tune together are used in this front
cover album!
They very cute i liked it! ![[Wink]](wink.gif)
And the fact is this album is called
Chick Corea Friends first released back in 1978
And that time the smurfs not yet been introduced
in the US! ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)
Chick Corea gonna really be proud of himself
because this smurfs that they use in 78'
are turned out to be one of the most popular
animated series in the US few years after they
first released this album! ![[Cool]](cool.gif)
That smurfs figurines are from the Schleich.
smurfs playing piano,trumpet,precussions and
bass guitar.
This album later won the grammy awards in 1979
Maybe the success of this album are from
the smurfs they used or maybe from their
Jazz songs? (Question for everyone)
I still really don't know true reason that
why chick corea need to use the smurfs to feature
this album's cover.(Question for everyone)

Great find, Brainy Snaeha! I also wouldn't know very well why he did it, he probably found that would be quite agreeable and harmonious to have Smurfs in his album
for friendship was something that our little blue chaps always valued (not counting he must be like us - someone who loves the Smurfs, who knows?).

I hope you're right,Squeaky...
I got a copy of this album.
A CD of course remastered version back in 1991
and re-released it again in 2006.
But i just purchased it from last week.
If you're like jazz this album is just for you!

An album cover with smurfs 3 years after the Hanna-Barbera cartoon came out, that is an awesome find Brainy Smurf Snaeha!!

You know,if you can try to listening to jazz
music this album maybe smurfs up something smurfy
in you mind and it's also makes you cooldown
your emotion and brains faster!
It's first released in 1978 De-Evolution Smurf.
