Im relatively new to the whole Smurf thing, and just now got into them. I wanted to know, would i benefit from watching all of the episodes in order, or does it really matter? It seems that there are a lot of episodes that are extremely hard to find, And i don't think that there is a box set in the US available with all of the seasons yet, correct me if i am wrong. Thanks

With a little luck they might actually bring all episodes in a box set sometime around the movie release. but we'll see... In Canada they have most of the Smurfs airing on Teletoon Retro...still they started out airing them in order then kind of went random for the later seasons.

Try watching on youku, they have almost everything there. and tons of rare eps you can't find anywhere else. ...I wonder who put em there and how'd he get em :S
The order is not that important most of the time, there isn't a great deal of continuity (spell?), just some new characters once in a while.

Hi, smurfysmurfsmurf.
They're supposed to come out with "The Smurfs: Smurfy Tales" DVD next month, too.

Hi,smurfysmurfsmurf. It's benefit but not much. because even me i just watched the smurfs season 8 from cartoon network back in 1999 and i watched only 2 episodes! and really love it! And 10 years later learning more from Smurf wiki For the complete dvd series of the smurfs you should check at www.imissmytvshow.com And look in the smurfs cartoon chest Buy or not is entirely on you to decide! Because i ordered my cousin a month ago. and he not come back yet. so,Good or not i don't know for now. I hope it's a useful info for you smurfysmurfsmurf!

I was just looking around on kidswb.com, and they have Smurfs episodes online too, mainly from the first season.
