I got these classic styled smurfs while in China, but I can't see them listed on any smurf sites,
bottom of the stands say "Peyo 2008 Made in China"
the foot tags say Schleich D-73508 Schw. Gmund on all of them, they have different barcode numbers though, Papa's upc:4 005087 727952 Brainy's:4 005087 753326 Greedy:4 005086 529458 Painter:4 005087 719551 Smurfette:4 005087 717359 Handy:4 005087 712316 Pillow Dude:4 005087 715508 Jokey:4 005087 713641

I read about these somewhere a couple of days ago. Apparently they are unlicensed copies of the 2008? kinder smurfs - I think they're quite cute though and have ordered myself some!

Thanks for the id! do you know where I can find pics of the originals that they were taken from?
yeah, I guess it makes sense they are fakes, the market I got them from was full of knockoff Transformers, that I bought a ton of while I was there, (posted over 2000 pics in my album) and the market also had lots of prototype and pre-release action figures, lol
I guess my native smurfs might also be copies,
and I just noticed in my previous pic, I got the stands swapped with jokey and the other guy.

I was just writing you at the same time you were posting your next message! Yeah, I do think your Smurfs on stands are fakes but they are still really cute. I read somewhere that the fake ones from China are larger than the "real" Kinder Smurfs. Don't know if this is true?
As for your Native American Smurfs, they are probably fakes BUT quite a good quality fake if you ask me! Are the tags correct?
That market sounds like it was a lot of fun! I would have come home with an entire suitcase full of different new figures!!!
Here's another picture of the Special Edition Jokey - I think he is so cute!

I took a size comparison shot next to the other ones, looks like normal smurf size.
I think they must have either created new tooling or copied them from older smurfs,
Here's a list of my native smurfs tags, Archer: 4 005087 634038 Tomahawk: 4 005087 540384 Peace Pipe: 4 005087 393423 Chief: 4 005087 073943 Horn Hat: 4 005087 504669 Canoe: 4 005087 570985 Smurfette: 4 005087 470445 Spear: 4 005087 400213

Hi, Paul! I'd already seen these new Smurfs before but I thought they belonged to another trade (Albert Hein, if I'm not wrong). They're very cute and well painted, but I confess it's quite difficult distinguishing a fake from a non-fake sometimes. Besides Germany, some Smurf figurines were made in China and Portugal. I looked at the Smurf ID Guide here and found the Native American Smurfs respective numbers: 20551 - 20552 - 20553 - 20556 - 20554 - 20549 - 20555 - 20550.
