Hello =D I have tried to get some information on an old mushroom house, I suspect its fake, but is there anyone out there who have some information about it? It have the text "Made in W. Germany" stamped in. When is it made?, and is there any value at all for a smurf collector to show it off or should it be stashed away in some dark place ashamed of itself? =) Thankful for any responses =D

Greetings FixXxeR85,
Welcome to BlueBuddies!
Thanks for your message and pictures. Your mushroom house comes in two color variations: either a yellow base or a blue base. It is assumed to be from the late 1970s or early 1980s. Take a look at the pictures below.
It is rare to see your house offered for sale, but when I have seen it for sale it is offered as a "Smurf House". I have never personally seen a box for this house nor do I even know if it originally came with a box... so I am unsure if you would consider it a fake or not. For a comparison, take a look at these Smurf Houses with boxes here.
 Blue Mushroom House for Smurfs
 Yellow Mushroom House for Smurfs
I think that many Smurf collectors are interested in such a nice house because you can see that the size ratio is a perfect fit for the size of smurf figurines. (I don't think you should hide it away in a dark place of shame! LOL!) It is a wonderful way to show-off your smurf collection. Your baby smurfs look very happy living in the house!
Hope this helps a little bit!
Have you been a smurf collector for long? ![[Happy Smurf]](graemlins/Happy_Smurf.gif)

Hi, FixXxeR85! I really don't remember to have seen a mushroom house like yours before. It's a very beautiful and original house that any Smurf(s) would love to live in. And I would not hide it in any dark place if I were you! ![[Happy Smurf]](graemlins/Happy_Smurf.gif)

Hello and thank you for all comments =) I am a "new" collector, have had around 50 smurfs and that house since I was a kid and I have recently began to buy new ones from different auctions and so on. Whenever the economy says yes a new Smurf will be bought from now on =) So again thanks for the help and all kind words about the house, it makes me more proud to have it in my little collection =)
