Hello Smurfs!
There was Thomas & Friends with Smurfs but it was a story & there was an art showcase of that. I was just thinking of something yesterday, it's about two franchises. That being Mickey Mouse & Smurfs & what I'm thinking about them is, well I imagine stuff at night but, the result is me imagining if Mickey Mouse & friends were with the Smurfs. This is another topic where you can do art whenever you want!
Just imagine if Mickey Mouse & his buddies were with the Smurfs.
What will it be like.

A nice idea, S.H. Brainy. Have you already begun to write it?

Hmm...interesting idea, putting the Smurfs into Disney stories. I can imagine an idea for Donald Duck's Uncle Scrooge and the Smurfs, sort of like an old Carl Barks story. Scrooge could be trying to buy the land that the Smurfs village is on or to buy and sell smurfberries, or some such thing, but not getting anywhere with them because the Smurfs have no use for money, and Papa Smurf doesn't trust Donald Duck and Scrooge. Might be a good starting point...

Here is a picture inspired by Smurfy Smurf's idea, by the way it's not a story, it's a fan art topic.

Scrooge McDuck is so awesome!
I don't really do crossovers anymore, but years ago, I had an idea crossing over Smurfs with Dragonball and Peabody & Sherman. The idea was that the four star Dragonball, which belonged to Goku's grandpa, found it's way to the Smurf village after the dragon, which was summoned by the seven Dragonballs(it's been a while, so I could be wrong on the number), granted a wish. Mr. Peabody and his boy, Sherman meet Goku. After a lot of searching, Mr. Peabody deduces that the four star Dragonball somehow traveled through time. So, with the Wayback Machine, the the trio travels through time in search of the Goku's Dragonball, eventually finding themselves in Middle Ages Europe where the Smurfs reside. The idea never got any farther than one concept art, which is missing.

Now imagine smurfs on old late 1920's-early 1930's Mickey Mouse cartoons like:
The Picnic Steamboat Willie Mickey's Good Deed Barn Dance Gallopin Gaucho.

Here we are, S.H. Brainy: what a Smurf would be like if rendered by Ub Iwerks, Disney's main collaborator during the 20's - 30's. (At least, I imagined it would be like this...)

You're welcome, Squeaky!
I'm thinking of if Brainy was first in Disney Studios, he might've made his debut in around early 30's-mid 30's. What year do you think?

You know, the backgroun music to things like Steamboat Willy and other old Mickey cartoons. If you haven't seen Steamboat Willy, you're missing out, it's hilarious ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)

Squeaky the Mickey Smurf is wonderful. So much life in black and white!
Scrooge McDuck is great SHB. You can feel Scrooge's malice towards Papa.
Smurfy Smurf you are familiar with the works of Carl Barks I see. He was the Duck master and I have most of the Gladstone reprints of his work. It is nice to see another Barks aficionado.

Cool drawings, Space Harrier Brainy and Squeaky Smurf!
Sometimes, I like to combine my Smurf figures and Simpsons figures together, and make little stories about them.
