As you probably already have heard the Smurfs are celebrating their fiftieth anniversary in style. As of the beginning of this year a lot of events were organized throughout the whole of Europe with a lot of enthusiasm and press coverage as a result. With the magical date of October 23 now in sight the Smurfs are now preparing their final anniversary event in Brussels. One of the main events is an auction where exclusive statues will be sold for the benefit of UNICEF. More info can be found on http://auction.smurf.com/

Hi, evaaa, be welcome! I've already taken a look at the website before, it's really lovely, not only with the creativity contest (I also voted when I could), the Celebrity Auction and the tour in several European cities, but also with the Smurfs celebrating and giving little shouts of joy (even Harmony is playing his trumpet quite well, it was such a surprise to me!!) and the Chinese lamps that played "Happy Birthday" when one passed the mouse on them! This Smurf scene was delightful! Here in bluebuddies we have been doing some commemorative works in the topic Happysmurfday.  By my part, I hope heartily the Smurfs shall be released here in Brazil again (comic books, figurines, T-shirts and now their cartoon adventures in DVD ), as it was done 26 years ago!
