I see that relationships between male and female Schliphargons are not exactly equal to the ones between Smurfs and Smurfettes... ![[Angel Smurf]](graemlins/Angel_Smurf.gif)

Schliphargons were intended to be the Smurf universe version of Klingons, and to that end, the female Schliphargons would be rather...aggressive in pursuing what they would consider worthy mates.
The intended story behind this picture is that one of the female Schliphargons takes a likening to Empath, seeing the "warrior spirit" within him that would make him a worthy mate for her. Rather than seeing Empath be defiled by having to mate with a female Schliphargon, Polaris Psyche comes up with a plan to make himself a more worthy mate for her than Empath which possibly involves some form of combat, and that plan ends up working, which is why we see Polaris looking all roughed up (and, if I could add the details, all bruised up) from the mating ritual.

The picture is NOT for "Smurfed Behind: The Departure", but rather for a story within the saga itself, placed somewhere in their journeys between "The Departure" and "The Return".
