This picture is most unusal because on the very top where Gargamel is wearing a smurf cap you see another without one.
It comes a 1980 Smurf Annual Comic Book that was released in The UK.

Something's seriously wrong with this picture...Gargamel's obviously enjoying himself being in the company of Smurfs!

That is an odd pic you found Swarlock. Looks like Gargamel took the hat from one of the smurfs in the background (the one smurf is not wearing a hat)...and another smurf is sticking his tongue at Smurfette (whom looks like she's on drugs or something due to the spaced out look on her face, lol).
Anyway, it was nicely drawing, but just odd to look at ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)

I don't get this picture! For one thing it potrays Gargamel as the Smurfs' friend instead of their enemy. Anyone notice how Gargamel appears to be taking the other smurf's hat (the one in front of him even though it appears that he also took the hat from the other smurf who isn't wearing one)? I also find that Smurfette's face dosen't quite fit the setting considering that one of the smurfs appears to be sticking his tongue out at her.
In other words, this picture makes no sense.

Charming. And the picture was very useful as well. I decided that I needed a new avatar, after inadvertently choosing the same one as Swarlock. He had it first, after all.
