It's a record – 884 Smurfs in Chester, England

Students at the University of Chester have staked their claim to a smurftastic world record - for the largest group of Smurfs ever gathered together in one place.
On Monday 884 students got into true Smurf spirit and donned white hats, blue t-shirts, white pants, shoes and plenty of blue face paint at RB's on Northgate Street, Chester.
The previous record for the most dressed up Smurfs in one place was held by students at Warwick University with 451 students.
Beans promoter Mike Hannigan said: "It was phenomenal. We completely shattered the record and when they announced the record I have never seen such a reaction. I have never seen a venue go completely manic. It was unreal. I can't put into words what the atmosphere was like and students were delighted."
Two adjudicators watched as hordes of students signed into the 1,400 person capacity club.
Mr. Hannigan, who has organized the Beans nights at the club for nine years, added: "It was one of the best nights Chester University has ever had. The effort was remarkable."
The hype around the night has been building since October with a Facebook group set up to promote the event.
The signatures now need to be verified with Guinness World Records.
Steve Westgarth, president of Chester Students' Union, said: "This has given our students who took part a tremendous sense of pride, as they have smashed a record that many other universities have tried but failed to break.
"The previous record was 451, so to double that total is fantastic."
