Wow, cool. I haven't read the story because I'm not into fan fics, but this is a very cool picture. Good job.

One good thing about fan fiction is that it helps me to flex my writing skills a lot.
And this is a side story to the main story which was inspired by The Flight Of Dragons movie.
All will become clear when it's ready.

A rather seamless piece of work.

I really like how you did this one, Raven Child. It is truly remarkable and the background looks nearly realistic.

Just one thing about Papa Smurf's expression -- he seems very hopeful for being in a situation that has little or no chance of ever turning around in his (and his little Smurfs') favor.

Actually the background is a real photograph of the Arizona mountains
I did all of it in photoshop...Including finding a image of Papa Smurf and putting him in that picture. (the smurfettes in the thought bubble are ones that I drew, of course )
Glad you liked it though ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

Just going by what I've read in Swarlocks fanfic...to me he seemed hopeful that meeting these smufettes would be a good thing.

And there will be a reason why he is hopeful in the story. This will all take place after they return home.
As I said before all will be made clear.

If I were in Papa Smurf's shoes (which I'm not), I'd be praying for a miracle to happen if I knew the odds of ever finding a way back home are so incredibly high. The Papa Smurf of my recent avatar (which is based on my "Into The Vortex 2"/"The Smurfs: Lost In The Ages" picture) looks like he may never see home again. But if you can take the timelost Smurfs home again in your fanfiction, then all the power to you!

You can bet they will. After a few more time jumps they will be back at a very familar island.
