ive been a smurf fan since i was 10 im 37 now i had a least 200 of them at one time but through the years i lost interest thanks to my mom she saved everything
latley ive been real nostalic so i bought a bunch of the new ones and pulled out the old from storage
ive been in feature animation for the past 18 years working at disney warner and dreamworks so xcartoons are in my blood
ironically voice legend June Foray happends to be my closet friend we speak every day and i go to her house to pick her up alot shes the original voice of jokey smurf recently she signed a bunch for me i just love her
anyway hope to meet new friends cant wait to buy the smurf box set feb 26
i hope more people post there collections

We're all smurf nuts here Dave! Its a good thing that your mom saved your smurfs you're lucky! Wow all those animation companies. That is so cool.
So what do you think paramount will do with the smurfs movie? Will they shrekify it?

Feature animation? Cool. I still imagine June Foray's raspy vocals doing Jokey Smurf's lines in my EMPATH The Luckiest Smurf fanfiction stories.

yes the last movie i worked on was enchanted for disney
i hope the smurf they do at sony all i can say is i hope they stay true to the show and what peyo created the problem is if theres a good writer and the script is great the studio will find a way to screw it up and make it cheesy every cartoon from my childhood they recreated somehow the screw main case in point the flinstones movie what a horrible lame excuse and inexcusable desaster of a movie.
but all i can say is i look forward to the smurf hype and the possibly of more toys.
