It has been YEARS since I have owned Smurf figurines. I finally got one in 2002 from Ebay, an airline pilot Smurf. Then, in these last two weeks I ordered a bunch more from Ebay. I'm looking to get all the main characters from the show along with a couple special ones. I also got two plushes, Brainy Smurf and Nat Smurfling. Nat looks brand new, you should see it.

I finally got them all delivered this past week. I have a video of me opening them and showing them to the camera if you are interested.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrJEFsK-sO8

Here is a list of all that I got these last two weeks.

Grouchy Smurf
Smurfette
Slouchy Smurfling
Nat Smurfling
Jokey Smurf
Brainy Smurf
Baby Smurf
A bide and groom Smurfs
Harmony Smurf
Greedy Smurf
Vanity Smurf
A Smurf at a computer
Two different chimney sweep Smurfs

Then the two plushes, Brainy and Nat.

Nat in the cartoons didn't have a straw hat, but more of a cowboyish-type hillbilly hat. The straw hat comes from the European comics. Also, Greedy Smurf in the cartoons is an adaptation of Baker/Cook Smurf.

Really? I always thought it was a straw hat, it always looked like it to me in the cartoon. Also, that figurine is actually Greedy from the show, you can tell by looking at it.

I have the Smurflings tale in a German comic book, that's how I know.

Anyway, not a bad starter collection. I'm too cluttered up in my living space to even bother trying to show off mine. I'd be plenty embarrassed, though, if I did find a giant stuffed Papa Smurf inside my room.

I'm not looking for a big collection, just all the main characters that I have grown to love from the show as much as possible along with a few of the special ones (bride and groom Smurfs, desktop computer Smurf). Still quite a few of the main characters I need to get yet, but that will have to wait until after the holidays because I'm a little tight on cash right now, and I'm also gearing up for the DVD set in February. I will make a video when I get that.

Clutter sucks, I used to be cluttered when I lived in smaller living quarters, but now I have more closets and storage space in my current place and I can keep my office and living area very clean.

Cool video, Shane.

By the way, I bought some of the exact same Smurf figurines you've got. However I ain't got any Smurf plushes.
