To respond to an earlier suggestion of having the Mirror Universe Smurfs wear beards or goatees, my answer is: the story is NOT intended to be a parody of the Mirror Universe episodes of the Star Trek franchise; it's meant to be played out straight as inverse morality for most of the characters who have Mirror Universe counterparts. The only changes appearance-wise with the Mirror Universe counterparts is that the Smurfs are red-skinned, the Psyches are brown, and Gargamel has a full set of hair, a full set of teeth, and a clean white robe. If a Smurf from the normal universe has a clean-shaven face, his Mirror Universe counterpart will also have the same; if a normal universe Smurf has a beard, his Mirror Universe counterpart will also have a beard. Smurfette's Mirror Universe counterpart is given brown hair instead of blonde and her clothes are more fitting of a harlot than having her wear a standard white dress like her normal universe counterpart.

Today I watched the episode in which Brainy and Blossom fell into an alternate universe with grey mean Smurfs - the Pluffs - and also the good wizard Caramel, his cat Marshmallow and Bigheart, the counterpart of the troublesome ogre.
This two-part episode must have been inspired by the album "The Grey Smurfs", but the plot also reminded me your Mirror Universe story very much, due to "goodies Gargamel and Azrael", Vic. ![[Gargamel]](graemlins/gargamel.gif) ![[Azrael]](graemlins/azrael.gif)
