I won an Ebay auction on Saturday for a Smurf plush, it's from the 1980s and is in brand new condition. I'm very happy because this is the first Smurf plush I have owned since the early 90s, it's been about 16 to 17 years since I last had a Smurf plush. Thanks to Ebay I'm able to have one again.
If anyone is interested I opened the package and showed it off on my latest video blog today. I also open another package on that video showing a Kissyfur video that I got from Amazon. Anyone remember Kissyfur from the 80s? It used to come on before the Smurfs and Gummie Bears.
Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWGKz5tTGA8
Now I have to see if I can get some Smurf figurines.

You've never heard of Kissyfur, really? I wonder if they never played it there in Canada, or at least not on the same channel. Here it was played on NBC about an hour before the Smurfs. It came on at 8:00 AM EST on NBC, then at 8:30 it was the Gummie Bears, then the Smurfs at 9:00. Those were my three favorite cartoons on Saturdays, the Smurfs being the best of the best of course. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

I remember Kissyfur. It was cute, but not as entertaining as the Smurfs or the Gummi Bears.

I lived in the country back in the early 80's...there was only two channels. Only one of them would air some of the cool cartoons...the Smurfs was one of them. The rest of the cartoons I saw weren't as good until I moved to the coast and got to watch some of the mid 80's popular cartoons.
