Thanks a smurf for sharing your little friends' pics, Giglings (and welcome to Bluebuddies by the way). The Guard Smurf-a-Gram must be very hard to find, for it's the first time ever I've seen one. ![[Happy Smurf]](graemlins/Happy_Smurf.gif)

Hello Papa Smurf. Thank you for creating a great resource. How can we contribute pictures of variations we have discovered in our collection of figurines, but are not currently on the site? For example I have found significant paint variations and mold variations.

Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and fairly new to collecting and selling Smurfs.
I usually use this site, bluedwarfs.com and regular Google Lens to determine how rare/valuable a certain Smurf is. But now I've found a variation of a Smurf that I can't seem to find online.
It's 20071 Flying Smurf, but with blue wings instead of white.

The blue is most clear on the back, but it's also a little in the front, combined with the white.
Does anyone know if this is a rare Smurf? I can only find it with white wings, but maybe there are other resources I could try?
Thanks in advance,

Hi anha,
There are at least three versions of the 20071 Smurf figure: one with both Bully and Peyo markings on the wings, one with a Peyo marking on a single wing, and one with Schleich and Peyo markings on one foot.
1) The one with the Bully and Peyo markings has a wider face. This is the common 20071 Flying Smurf with Bully and Peyo markings on the wings:
Bully Peyo Wing Markings / 20071 Wider Face Flying Smurf Figure - Front
Bully Peyo Wing Markings / 20071 Wider Face Flying Smurf Figure - Rear
2) The Peyo-only wing-marked 20071 Smurf has a narrower face. It typically has rougher edges on the mold which you can see on this example (and on yours):
Peyo Wing Marking / 20071 Narrower Face Flying Smurf Figure - Front
Peyo Wing Marking / 20071 Narrower Face Flying Smurf Figure - Rear
Peyo Wing Marking / 20071 Narrower Face Flying Smurf Figure - Feet
The rough quality of the Peyo wing-marked figure is particularly present on the legs and the feet of the figurine.
3) The Schleich variation of the 20071 figure has Peyo and Schleich markings on one foot:
Schleich Peyo Foot Markings / 20071 Flying Smurf Figure - Front
Schleich Peyo Foot Markings / 20071 Flying Smurf Figure - Rear
Schleich Peyo Foot Markings / 20071 Flying Smurf Figure - Feet
As you can see, the wings are always white. So of all the versions, yours is anomalous.
Your figure's non-standard painting is interesting. Perhaps the wings were painted incorrectly and then a fix was applied to approximate the right color. Or perhaps one of the painters took liberties that day.
Finally, a blue 20071 Smurf also exists, and looks like this:

Hi PeazJelly,
Thank you for that quick and detailed response!
Now I know I don't need to search any further, but that it's not a standard Smurf.
That blue Flying Smurf looks a little weird, almost creepy
Thanks,
