Halloween is just around the corner and it has me wondering...

What costumes do you think the different Smurf characters would wear for Halloween?
[Confused]

Jokey Smurf could dress up as either a silly clown or a ghost so he could scare the other Smurfs!

Hefty Smurf could go as a knight in shining armor.

Any other ideas? And what about the other Smurfs... like Papa Smurf?

[Happy Smurf]

I think Papa Smurf could dress up as a wizard, he knows a lot about magic, or maybe a Santa, but that`s a good idea for Christmas [Wink]
The Smurfette could dres up as a princess. As for the other smurfs hmmm i`ve got to think about it some more.

There was a funny one-page story in the Romeo & Smurfette TPB where Papa Smurf advertised a "fancy dress party" where Smurfs could dress up as whoever they want to be, so Papa Smurf decides to join in on the fun by dressing himself up as someone else. In the bottom panel where the story concludes, we see most of the male Smurfs dressing up as Papa Smurf, while a "Papa Smurf" addresses a plain-dressed Smurf, "Why aren't you in fancy dress?" To which the plain-dressed Smurf replies, "I am in fancy dress; I am Papa Smurf!"

That is a cute story - I love Papa's clever idea of dressing as a plain smurf! And of course the Smurfs would all like to be Papa Smurf for the party. Remember in the Magic Egg episode, I think it was Handy, Brainy and another Smurf that wished to be Papa Smurf too!

... and I think Brainy Smurf would definitely want to dress up as Papa Smurf for Halloween!
[Smile]

As for the other smurfs... perhaps Vanity could dress up as Robinhood. Maybe Hefty Smurf would look good as Superman. I can't think what Clumsy could be other than a clown. Any ideas?

OOOhhh, Sassette. that is a cool pic of Smurfette! Did you draw that or did you find it somewhere?

I myself have a lot of sketches to catch up on...Perhaps I will draw a few smurfs in costume (hopefully...lol). Or perhaps if I have time, I'll color the spawn smurf pic I did last year... [Wink]

Take Care,
Raven Child.

I finally got my SpawnSmurf pic colored...I dedicate this pic to my late hubby. He had a thing for Spawn and Smurfs and asked me to draw this pic for him. And now it is colored for everyone to enjoy.

Heh, Heh, Thanks, I aim to please Smurfy1For2 [Wink]

I guess there something about a Spawn Smurf holding up a smurf skull and spin as he rises from the depths of Hell that can be a little scary, lol.

Glad you liked it, though.

Have a good and safe Hallween [Smile]

That's really cool artwork, Raven Child! [Cool]

I think that it would be funny if Hefty dressed up like Smurfette, and Gargamel could dress as a devil.

Thanks Cool Smurf, I'm glad you liked the pic...

I think Hefty did dress up like Smurfette in an episode [Big Grin] I don't remember the episode, though, but it sounds like it would be a classic, lol.

Take Care,
Raven Child.

You're welcome, Raven Child!

"Smurfette For a Day" is one of my all-time favorite episodes. My sister got me a copy from Boomerang last year. It's a very funny episode!

Great drawing, Squeaky! The Smurfs would have to catch him first before they made him walk the plank!

I "smoogled" (great new term, Squeaky) the Smurfette as a Pirate drawing so I'm not sure who the artist is... they did a wonderful job though!
