It sure is funny when a Smurf gets smurfed! There are definitely some funny scenes when a Smurf gets a pie (or two!) thrown in his face.
The pies really go flying in the episode, The Masked Pie Smurfer. It seems like just about every Smurf gets smurfed with a pie - especially Brainy!

And in the episode, The Gingerbread Smurfs, a naughty gingerbread smurf gives a good pie in the face too!
 The Gingerbread Smurfs
Are there any other Smurf episodes where a Smurf gets a pie in the face? And does Gargamel or Azrael ever get smurfed? ![[Confused]](confused.gif)

Nothing's funnier for me than seeing Jokey getting it back on himself.

Ahhhh! I always love those scenes. Thank you for posting those. My two favorite episodes EVER! I'm a fan of slapstick comedy since I was a little kid and pies in the face is one of my favorite gags. The Smurfs were always my favorite cartoon since I was three when the Smurfs first aired. Combining the two, Smurfs getting pies in the face, just really made my day.
Yeah, just about every Smurf in the Masked Pie Smurfer got pied, accept for Papa Smurf. Did Papa Smurf ever get a pie (or cake) in the face? I remember an episode where a cake fell on Papa Smurf's head while he was holding Baby Smurf and Baby was cracking up laughing at him. But, has Papa Smurf ever been pied or caked on is face?
Yes, it is always nice to see Jokey get his. That is him getting pied in the Gingerbread Smurfs and he also got pied at the end of the Masked Pie Smurfer with a mud pie by Baby Smurf. He also pied himself in the beginning of the same episode and blamed it on the Masked Pie Smurfer to Brainy and Clumsy to start the Masked Pie Smurfer scare among the rest of the village.
I remember Jokey getting pied at the end of another episode on stage, too. He was hiding behind something and either made some type of wise crack or prank and after he popped his head out a pie came from the audience and splattered him in the face.
Very funny stuff. I know there are plenty of other pie and cake in the face moments in the Smurfs, but I'll save those for another time.

I like the scene from "The Masked Pie Smurfer" of Vanity and Smurfette both pied and looking very angry at each other.

That wasn't a mud pie Baby Smurf pied Jokey with at the end of the episode. It was one of the leftover pies.
Anyway, given that Jokey contributed to the problem the Smurfs were having with each other in that particular episode - of holding back their grievances about each other - his getting his comeuppance by a least-expected source was just so necessary.

I have it, maybe I'll put it up on YouTube.

Okay, I just have to dig out the tape and get it on the computer. I probably won't get to that until sometime this week, or next week. I'm working on a bathroom renovation this week. I'll let you know.

"Masked Pie Smurfer" is a funny episode. Jokey as the Masked Pie Smurfer is really cool if one wants to resurrect it for a fanfiction story, only I'd have him have more than just pies behind his cloak to lob at someone.

My my, over a year later and I'm finally doing this. I never remembered again after that bathroom renovation. Sorry about that everyone. Actually, I didn't get around to digging up the tape, I actually managed to find this episode to download on eMule and it finished downloading yesterday. I just got it on YouTube tonight, hope you all enjoy the Masked Pie Smurfer. This is one of my all time favorite episodes (along with Sweepy Smurf, the Gingerbread Smurf, and the Bad Place).
Enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xP2yHTEfync
P.S., Vic, if you notice at the end of this episode, it is in fact a mud pie that Baby Smurf throws at Jokey using his magical powers.

Maybe it was a mud pie that Baby pied Jokey with at the end. I'm willing to accept that, given that my memory of the episode itself was fuzzy.

What did Jokey ever do to anyone? He is just innocently minding his business, and gets attacked with a pie for no reason. Tragic!!

Jokey was NO innocent in the situation the Smurfs found themselves in in the "Masked Pie Smurfer" episode. He basically was partly responsible for causing the grievances the Smurfs were having before he ended up making matters worse by masquerading as the titular character. His getting pie in the face at the end even by the hand of Baby Smurf was nothing more (and nothing less) than what he deserved.

Yeah, Jokey started the whole thing. He was even willing to pie himself at the beginning to fool the others. Heh. That episode was a clever idea, I just love everything about it.
