I'm in search of some of the colored gnomes from Empire Toys. Does anyone have any of these little guys for sale or know where I might find some. I'm looking for one specific one (orange with right arm out, left hand on stomach, laughing.) If anyone can direct me to finding this, please let me know. Thanks!!

Are you still looking for gnomes from Empire Toys? I thought it was a smurf until today. I recieved it as a gift around 1980. It appears to be made out of yellow plastic with the pants and hat painted red. The pompoms on his shoes and hat are painted white. On the bottom of one foot is says "made in Hong Kong" with a heart next to it. The other foot has an "E" with a crown on top of the "E" and says "Empire" "1978". It is in good condition with a little paint starting to come off the top pompom and the foot. I would be happy to post a picture if you are interested.

The Gnome Family figures really do look like wanna-be Smurfs! It's a wonder that Empire Toys got away with making a product with such a close resemblance to The Smurfs.

The little Empire elves were all different colors. They had either orange, yellow, green or beige skin. You can check out more pics here or look at the ones for sale here.

I remember those! I had a yellow one with red pants and hat. I still have it here somewhere. Good luck with finding the one you are searching for.
