will you please help me decide how to make a smurf costume, cos i would realy want to go as a smurf but i cant seem to find any costumes, me freind also wants to go as a smurfette,
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!! x x x [Wink]

Hi Jennie

I regularly make fancy dress costumes for my daughter and her friends. This New Year they are going on the town dressed as Smurfs. I am making a short mini skirt in pale blue fur fabric - just a tube with elasticated waist. A boob tube top in the same fabric - again just a tube but with a velcro fastening down one side - some white furry boots - the slippr type that are in all the shops at the moment. If you buy a small piece of stretchy pale blue fabric and make two tubes as arm covers - from top of arm to cuff - the stretch in the material allows you to just pull them on. Finally a hat that is stuffed with cushion filling to give the shape. Its easy to make and you can add your own accessories - pale blue dickie bow for example.
Give it a try - its easy....have a great time.
