Hello Everyone, I have been trying to find the answer to question I have about an enameled charm of papa smurf. I am neither a big collector or seller of the smurf memorabillia, just sometimes get small items. I do not wish to step on toes or break rules, so if I am or do, please let me know in a nice way. My question is, why is my papa smurf an odd shade of green rather than the normal blue? Thanks in advance. foxyroxy1952

Welcome foxyroxy1952!
We're glad you smurfed here! You are welcome anytime with any questions or comments you may have! So don't you worry about stepping on toes or breaking rules! Whatever you have to say is smurfy with us! Now about your Papa Smurf charm... does he have any markings on the backside? If so, what are they? Maybe a name or maybe a year?
Also, if you can show us a picture or scan of your charm -- we would all love to see your green papa!
Just click on the "Smurf Picture & File Upload" button to the left of the Quick Reply box to show your picture. Or if you have any questions / problems with your picture --- you can read, http://bluebuddies.com/help/smurf_picture_uploads.htm or if all else fails, just ask. We'll figure it out together!
I know I started out as "neither a big collector or seller of the smurf memorabilia" too and then I caught the Smurf bug and I haven't been able to shake it since!
Smurf you later, Sassette

a lot of enamaled trinkets will only be colored to signify differences in colour, even if they arent correct.
