This new show centers around two best friends: a laid-back, yet clumsy, canine based on the show’s creator and a smart and easygoing gopher inspired by Porky Pig, Ruff the Cat and Boo-Boo Bear. The two can travel off to mysterious and different adventures, varying from domestic situations like Tom and Jerry, western situations like Quick Draw McGraw, time-traveling situations like The Flintstones and The Jetsons, action-packed situations like Jonny Quest, mystery solving situations like Scooby-Doo, and medieval fantasy situations like The Smurfs.
Unlike every other modern Hanna-Barbera show (where they have to follow a similar formula), the series’ format is extremely loose. It is capable of having to put the duo in a variety of different situations, preventing the show from being strictly formulaic. Like Ruff and Reddy, the duo occasionally speak in late 1950s slang words and phrases, such as “I’m beat.” or “Let’s hit the sack, jack.” The series is mostly drawn in a style influenced by Hanna-Barbera’s early TV cartoons (prior to Scooby-Doo), respecting the franchise in all of its glory.

Model sheet for Popeye's navy buddy, Shorty, a fairly obscure character from the beginning of the Famous era during World War II. From what I heard, he was a caricature of comic actor Arnold Stang, who voiced him in his final appearance, Moving Aweigh (1944). Feel free to use it as reference for a 3D model in Source Filmmaker, Blender 3D or Garry's Mod (your choice). And don't forget to credit yours truly for the model sheet.

Some older art I traced from a traditional drawing I did in comparison to some new art I did for a friend's birthday of Sasuke as a cat.

I do a lot of anthropomorphic animal themed art.
Here is my main character, Mira. She is an Arctic Hare.

By the way, Duckette, your art is adorable! I love it!

Very great art, everybody! OK, here's a cartoon made by me a certain time ago:

"Dante, how many times must I say that I don't want you in other people's house?"

1995? Wow. Also I heard that Portuguese is a pretty hard language.
Anyway, I got some colored pencils and drew this yesterday. I am thinking about including her in my Nutcracker and the Mouse King fanfic.

Yes, Neo-Latin languages are said to be very difficult indeed. And your mouse girl character looks pretty charming, very nice job! ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

There's in Brazil a kind of numbers game named 'jogo do bicho', in which a number is represented by an animal ("bicho", in coloquial Portuguese). It's been popular since its creation by a Brazilian nobleman, the Baron of Drummond, who also founded the first zoo in Brazil. Players usually take it quite seriously, so much that when someone dreams about a certain animal, the person considers it as a good hunch the next time one goes to play. #1 - Ostrich #2 - Eagle #3 - Donkey #4 - Butterfly #5 - Dog #6 - Goat #7 - Sheep #8 - Camel #9 - Snake #10 - Rabbit #11 - Horse #12 - Elephant #13 - Rooster #14 - Cat #15 - Alligator #16 - Lion #17 - Monkey #18 - Pig #19 - Peacock #20 - Turkey #21 - Bull #22 - Tiger #23 - Bear #24 - Deer #25 - Cow

Whoa, this is still a thing? I have missed quite a bit since I last came to Bluebuddies. Well now's as good a time as ever to share some other art, I suppose.
