I like Harry Potter too. My older sister is a huge fan and named our dogs Padfoot and Remus after Sirus and Professor Lupin from the Prisoner of Azkaban. My younger sister wants to get a snake and name it Snape. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

If I had a Harry Potter Snake, I'd name it Nagini, after Voldemort's Snake, but I think I'll just stick with our Geckos Luke and Leia for now. I've read all the Harry Potters and seen them all too Lazy! Thanks for commenting on my profile. I just had to express how Hackin' Awesome Sam is. ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

@ Animator Smurf: Good choice in Literature! I am quite partial to Tolkien as well.
Right now I'm reading "World Without End" by Ken Follett. It's a good story and the sequel to "Pillars of the Earth."
I love C.S. Lewis as a writer, and I have read most of his work. I also like Oscar Wilde, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Edger Allen Poe (some stories), H.P. Lovecraft (again some of his stories). Jane Austin.
I did read all of the Harry Potter books to see what the rage was about. However, I do not read "popular" fiction, beyond some manga. I did read Koontz once, and that was enough.

Sweet! Guess what, right now I'm watchin' Lord of the Rings- The Two Towers (Blu-Ray Addition), and I just got a game for the ps3 called Aragorn's quest, where Sam Gamgee tells his kids the story of Aragorn in addition to his birthday arrival! It has all the right actors as well! (e.g, Sean Astin, Viggo Mortenson, Elijah Wood, illy Boyd, Dominic Monaghan, Orlando Bloom, John Rhyss- Davies, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving, Ian McKellen, and so on.)

I love The Chronicles of Narnia, The Hobbit/The Lord of the Rings, The Secret Garden, Sherlock Holmes, and Horatio Hornblower, but I think, if I had to pick just one, that my favorite book might be The Little Prince by Antoine De Saint-Exupery. It touches me every time I read it, and I've read it hundreds of times. In fact, I can't travel without it.
I also love The Neverending Story, Flatland, Flatterland, The Phantom Tollbooth, Tom's Midnight Garden, Watership Down, The Last Unicorn, Killer Angels, To Kill a Mockingbird, Tuck Everlasting, I, Claudius/Claudius the God, (and so many, many others) and I adore the works of Isaac Asimov, Diana Wynne Jones, and P.G. Wodehouse. They're three of my writing idols.
I better stop now before my list grows longer. LOL! ![[Cool]](cool.gif)

Awesome!
I've just been re-reading Asimov's Foundation series. It's so deeply genius. And so are Diana Wynne Jones's Chrestomanci books and her Dalemark Quartet. Fantastic stuff!
I love books! LOL!

I'm glad to see that there are some big readers on here. My cousin Spencer likes some books like: The Secret Series, Diary of A Wimpy Kid, The Mysterious Benedict Society, and a bunch more that I don't know the names of. He recently lent me a book called The Lost Hero. He has read the Harry Potter books up till number 4 (the goblet of fire).
