Get Ready for the Super Bowl
Paramount is no stranger to the Super Bowl, even when its sister CBS network and Paramount+ isn’t broadcasting it (Fox has the game this year). This year, the buzz is that Par will air spots for the Jack Quaid comedy thriller Novocaine (March 14), the Smurfs animated musical movie starring Rihanna (July 18) and Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning. Mission movies dropped Super Bowl spots in 2018 and 2023 for Mission: Impossible – Fallout and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, respectively.

The Super Bowl isn't just about football, it’s also one of the biggest nights for movie trailers, and this year it's about to get smurfy!
Apparently the first trailer for the Smurfs animated musical movie will air during the Super Bowl on February 9th... this Sunday!
We did see the first glimpse of the new Movie Smurfs during the NFL game on Nickelodeon a few weeks back so I am getting excited!

Actually, according to Cryptic4KQual and DanielRPK, two well known leakers on the internet, Super Bowl is getting a TV Spot on Sunday but the actual trailer would debut online this Friday, February 7th
Cryptic stated the trailer would come out BEFORE the Super Bowl which corrobates with that date that DanielRPK provided

The trailer is playing already in theaters before showings of DreamWorks/Universal's Dog Man in it's second week
Won't say anything to not ruin the surprise but i've heard good/decent things from people who've seen it
Also cast members are being gifted a replica of the mini TV with Smurfette from the teaser video i posted above

The latest teaser featuring Smurfette, they definitely went for a more stylized look.
But this is Paramount/Nickelodeon joint we're talking about if the visuals proved to be disappointed or controversial then, anything else is unlikely to be the same.
Good idea that it's a musical movie this time but they have to go all in with it.
Sony just didn't get memo until it was too late, they got the right look, but the story other than the new girls only village, really was more of the same coming of age Smurfette centric story.

ok. based on the trailer. the smurfs i see are (based from fave to meh) Grouchy, Hefty, Brainy, Papa, Smurfette, Scaredy or Timid and last is vanity. and of course no name smurf who is new. And maybe Clumsy. and i think moxie has a bit of smurfstorm in her. which is cool. as for those other smurfs in disguise will see what i think.

Uh... guys, Am I the only one think that the movie this time is a little ... weird maybe???
Don't get me wrong I'm a smurfs fan but why I get the felling that the smurfs art design & quality is cheap, the plot story seem confusing and the smurfette voice is not... suitable..?
Sorry its just the trailer is not what I expected, I thought the new movie should be different from the burger king smurf design. The lost village is way better.
Am I the only who have this opinion?
