Ok Smurfs! I'm still working on my fanfic, "The Smurfs: Legend of the Lost Smurfette" and I was wondering if anyone would like to take part in the creation of my story...
This topic is for questions about the plot so far, suggesting ideas and also, If desired, for artwork based on the story. I would love to see how you guys would go about illustrating my story... A concept of my OC in her human form... Sorry for it being upside down... I can't really do anything for that.
Concept of my OC in her Smurf form with Brainy...
If you guys want to contribute some art for the story, or just have some questions, come here and I'll be happy to help!

You're not the only one with a similar concept of Smurfs turned into humans. In my fanfiction, Smurfette III, Grace and her son Blue were human descendants of the original Smurfette turned into Smurfs. Smurfette III is also inspired by OUR Smurfette, my real life crush hence why I paired her up with my Smurfsona. Another thing is that I gave her psychic powers as a nod to Empath (she IS Smurfette's descendant, after all). Granted, she doesn't have the star on her forehead but... let just say over the years it manifested as the x-gene and leave it at that!

You're smurfy welcome, but... For all I remember she was already wearing the new dress she got from Grace and Smurfette. (...) He froze for a moment, put his magnifying glass away, and looked up at the owner of both the hair and the feet. It was Ariel... Her long hair, which seemed to be probably a good ten, no, twenty feet in length, had led him right to her. The new dress that she was now wearing was made from the one she had as a human, the design was very different, though. With flowers embroidered along the hemming, and a slightly ruffled top, most likely an attempt to conceal the clear difference in shape between her and Smurfette. Where Smurfette was more of a straight line in figure, Ariel had a bit of an hour glass form. She didn't have her glasses, so she was forced to have to squint a little. Brainy's heart pounded in his chest.(...)

From chapter 29 quote: Brainy ran to see. He reached past her arm to the bundled cloak. Carefully, he widened the opening. What he saw shocked him. Ariel, the once-human girl, was now a Smurf. She had bright blue eyes, and her dark brown hair was so thick, it wrapped itself around her, and so long, that it ran past her feet. She was completely bare, her clothes and glasses had remained at their humanesque size. Ariel retracted her arm back into the cloak, and backed away from Brainy, with wide eyes, into the shadows.
It's also in chapter 30... So I completely understand why you don't remember that...

Here's where it appears in the story...
quote: As originally uploaded in chapter Thirty of The Smurfs: Legend of the Lost Smurfette “You go ahead, Smurfette,” Papa said, “As for the rest of us… we’ll go find Miss Grace and then wait on the roof with Master Winslow.” “Yes, Papa,” I heard Smurfette say as the opening widened again. Smurfette climbed in through the hole in my now-too-large cloak. I backed further into the darkness as she approached me. I could barely see her without my glasses, but I knew it was her. “Uh… Smurfette, this really isn’t necessary,” I said, hiding behind my curtain of hair. “Don’t worry, Ariel,” Smurfette replied. “It’s OK. The boys will be out on the roof before you are out of here.

I have some ideas.
Maybe you can do a scene where Ariel meets up with Johan and Peewit.
And perhaps after she gets new glasses and a dress, she is bound to meet the others in the Smurfs family: The Smurflings (Snappy, Slouchy, Nat and Sassette), Grandpa Smurf, Nanny Smurf, Wild Smurf, and the marsupial-type creature Smoogle.

And yes... If you read through the prologue, you will see that I started with her telling this story to the Smurflings... As requested by Sassete Smurfling...
quote: From The Smurfs: Legend of the Lost Smurfette (prologue) I sat down. “Alright, little ones,” I said, about to turn to the bookshelf behind me. “What story do you guys want to hear tonight?” “Jumpin’ jackrabbits, Ariel, we don’t want a storybook story,” Sassette said, fussing with her little red pigtails. “We wanna hear ‘bout how you got found; how you’re Lost Smurfette!”
You see... I plan to have her meet everysmurfy from the main cast of the Smurfs franchise... (and characters from the stories that are crossed over into this one, [the Harry Potter series])

Took a look at the prologue.
Hopefully, when your fanfic is done. It could, someday, be adapted into a full-length animated feature film.
