Happy New Year. I was up until midnight last night at my aunt's house for a New Years Eve party and I saw fire works. Today my parents are hosting a New Years Party. People are gonna come over soon. I've been doing so much cleaning. The fire works last night that I saw were pretty.
Just for 2012 I made a New Years Smurf Collage with all of my drawings of smurfs I've posted here.

I did enjoy the party. I had grandparents, cousins, aunts, siblings (and my older sister's boyfriend), and uncles. I like the Clumsy picture Animator. Before the party my mom was a little cranky from being up so late (she goes to bed at 9:00 PM!). Besides that all went great, we watched football, played games, ran around being crazy, and played with our x-box 360 with Kinnect. We played a game called Fruit Ninja. My 6 year old cousin Riley asked me to make this picture. She likes smurfs too.

Here's a (belated, I know) New Year gift for you. Pity I didn't get to translate and post it about time (it's a Smurf German comic strip).
IN THE CASTLE OF ETERNAL GLACIER
- Oh, but the wind is smurfing so hard here.
- And it's so cold that the river is getting frozen. Do you see the ice blocks?
- Hmm.
- Smurf the sight in order to find the Blue Bird. If we see it in the sky, there will be a fine weather.
- The Blue Bird?
- OVER THERE!
- Hide away! That's not the Blue Bird, but the Gray Bird... A MISFORTUNE MESSENGER!
- The Gray Bird?
- HELP!
- Where is it smurfing to?
- Whew! It's already far.
- It's smurfing to the Mountain of Freezing Sea. This doesn't smurf good at all... It might be such a harsh winter.
- The Gray Bird! It means bad luck.
- What if we get to find the Blue Bird?
- Follow me. The bridge looks very solid.
- A little roebuck. It's calling for some help.
- Maybe it has lost its mother.
- It grabbed the little roebuck! You need to save it!
- It won't survive the fall. I must do something!
- Don't be afraid, little one.
- Good job, little sister!
- From now on I'll protect you. You had just seen how skillful I am in using my braid.
- The Gray Bird is flying to the infamous Glacier Castle. Who in all conscience would like to live there?
- There lives the nasty Rotten Beard. We must hurry up if we want to find the Blue Bird. It's the only hope for our devastated land!
- WHOA!
- TO ASSAULT! GRAB'EM!
- Surrender, ya won't get away from us. Hee hee hee.
- What then, do ya have already enough? He he he.
- Tie them up and take them to Rotten Beard our master in the Castle of Eternal Glacier. Hee hee.
- Ah, here's my brave bird of ill omen! What nice bad news do you bring me today?
- It's such a great day! My little ice goblins has made some prisoners. Hee hee hee.
- Surely they are bringing me a huge fortune. He he he.
- Who are you and what do you search here?
- We're looking for the Blue Bird, the messenger of happiness.
- Calm down, little brother.
- OW! Stop pulling me by the hair, your stinky little devil!
- In fact a great capture. Ha ha ha.
- I catched and imprisoned the Blue Bird. And I'll have you thrown into the Freezing Sea!
- You really deserve your name, Rotten Beard!
- And what are we gonna do with the girl, Master?Just look at her long golden braid.
- As a matter of fact!
- You've really got a very beautiful hair. It would be a pity if it got wasted, wouldn't it?
- I beg you... Set my brothers free!
- If you promise to stay with me, I won't do them any harm.

- But... What are you doing?
- They shall remain alive, but I'll make ice statues of them. Wild wolfberries... ABRACADABRA!
- And don't even try anything, for they might get thawed and particualrly this wouldn't be good at all. Hee hee hee.
- At least leave the little roebuck with me so that I won't get so lonesome. Boo hoooooo.
- Go and put them at the castle courtyard.
- Thus, they can stay here until the next glacial season. Ha ha ha.
- Boo hoooo hoo... My poor brothers...
- For you to see what a big and generous heart I have, you'll be given the keys for all the rooms in the castle. Whatever you like in gold and precious stones you can take for yourself.
- Gold and precious stones?
- You can enter all the rooms in the castle... WITH AN EXCEPTION! You're not allowed to enter the tower, so you must restrain your curiosity; think always about this, otherwise your brothers shall pay!
- Are you... going to leave me by myself?
- My little snow goblins discovered and I must approach them. But this won't be for a long time. He he he.
- And always think about your promise, or else... You already know. Hee hee hee.
- I really promised to stay with him, but you can go wherever you want, my little one.
- I'll tie a letter up on you and you can search for some help.
- So, go now, and hurry up!

A LITTLE TIME LATER...
- Help me with these ice blocks, or else they'll destroy our dam!
- A little roebuck! Where does it come from?
- It might catch a cold in the water! Quick, we must smurf it out!
- Smurf over here, little roebuck! Now you are safe.
- Oh, just smurf at this! It brings a message around its neck.
- It smurfs from Princess Anne and her three brothers! They are doomed to stay in the Castle of Eternal Glacier as prisoners!
- So they are in great danger! There lives Rotten Beard, and he can't be smurfed with. Come on!
A BIT LATER...
- Just keep on alert. Papa Smurf always says...
- Yes, yes, I know, Brainy.
- I know a shortcut to the Castle of Eternal Glacier. We must get there before Rotten Beard can smurf them something.
- I can see no sentinel and the fog shall give us a chance. Then, what are we smurfing for?
- THE GRAY BIRD! WE ARE LOST!
- Whew!
- This was a close smurf!
- These must be the three brothers who Princess Anne smurfed in his letter. Rotten Beard must have cast a spell on them. But where's Princess Anne?
- We need to smurf her before it's too late.
- Listen! This comes from an open door behind.
- It must be her! I heard the weep up there.
- Girls! They always need to smurf crocodile tears.
- My little roebuck, you are back! And... But who are you?
- We found your letter and came to smurf you!
- Alas... sniff... I'm afraid you came too late. I couldn't contain my curiosity and opened the tower door... Now my poor brothers are lost... Boo hoooo hoo...
- Do you see all these braids? That's what Rotten Beard do to every curious girl. I'm so afraid!
- How ghastly!
- The villain cut their hair!
- There's somebody still prisoner up there!
- Let's set him free. I have the keys... Quickly, before Rotten Beard comes back!
- Then let's go!
- Not this key... And not this other either... This one fits!
- THE BLUE BIRD!
- But such a luck! It will smurf the sun and everything shall run well!
MEANWHILE...
- EWW! LOOK THERE, THE SUN! WE'RE ALL LOST, SAVE US, MASTER!
- Then she released the Blue Bird out its cage! I had already foreseen that. Her curiosity was much stronger! HA HA HA!
- These girls are all equal. Rather curious and rather nice. Very well, so I'll fetch her braid right now! HA HA HA!
- The sun is reducing the ice to smurf!
- And what about my brothers? We must set them free!
- NOW I'M GONNA CUT YOUR BRAID! MWA HA HA!
- Just try, come and catch it, Rotten Beard!
- Hey!! Stop it!
- Leave him to us. Let's smurf his beard!
- Ha ha ha.
- That's right!
- Rotten Beard's spell was broken! They are free!
- NO! Not my beard! Mercy on me! ARGL!
- AAAH! Run for your lives!
- The sun defeated the ice! At last!
- The Blue Bird shall smurf for the sun also to appear in your land again soon.
- Thank you, little blue gnome.
- Maybe you could do me...
- But surely. Tee hee.
- Goodbye!!
- Come on now, little sister.
- Wait! She's smurfing me a braid!
